Prohibition on Carrying Open Flames and Cooking Utensils

Prohibited Activities in Facilities Managed by the Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters, Tourism Administration, MOTC

1. In order to maintain the quality of tourism and public safety, the Alishan National Scenic Area Headquarters, Tourism Administration, MOTC (hereinafter referred to as "the Headquarters") hereby establishes these prohibitions based on Article 64, Paragraph 2 of the Act for the Development of Tourism.

2. It is prohibited to engage in cooking, camping, making fires, or setting up leisure camping vehicles or similar structures (such as those listed in the attached table) within facilities managed by the Headquarters. However, activities organized to promote tourism and approved by the Headquarters are exempt from this restriction.

3. Violators of the aforementioned provisions will be fined between NT$ 5,000 and 1,000,000, in accordance with Article 64, Paragraph 2 of the Act for the Development of Tourism.
