The quaint and elegant 1950s ballroom retains the historic decorations of nearly a century, allowing guests to reminisce about the nightlife of old Shanghai. Serving coffee, snacks, and alcoholic beverages, it's a place where friends and family can share laughter and stories amid the aroma of coffee.
Originally serving as a social hall and ballroom during the Japanese colonial period, it only accommodated VIP guests of the forest farm and government officials at the time.
The original design remains unknown. In the 1960s, it was renovated in the popular style of Shanghai at night, with warm-toned wooden furnishings complemented by retro lighting fixtures, old windows, and vintage jukeboxes. The timeless appeal lies in the nostalgia for objects, like the experiences of time, harboring memories of the past. Stepping into the 1950s, you'll feel its unique charm, carrying forward moments of beauty, with a narrative that flows gently through time.
